Liz, a member from central Vermont, discovered just how convenient it was while holiday shopping in Burlington last winter. Liz's intention was to pay for her purchases with her VSECU ATM & Visa® Check Card until she realized it was not in her wallet. Panic followed — she did not know exactly where her Check Card might be — and she needed to contact her Credit Union as soon as possible to report the loss. Recalling that the VSECU was building a new branch in Williston, Liz drove to Williston and was relieved to see the new branch had opened its doors.
"The staff at the Williston branch took care of me right away," Liz said, "reducing my stress level during what is traditionally a stressful time anyway during the holidays." She said a staff member quickly canceled her card and ordered a new one, which arrived within five business days.
