Opening Your Business Account
To take advantage of Vbiz benefits you must first be eligible to join the Credit Union. You may become a member as a sole-proprietorship or as an organization or other entity.
Sole-proprietorship Eligibility:
Live or work in the Vermont county of Addison, Caledonia, Chittenden, Lamoille, Orange, Rutland or Washington; or
- Be a current or retired employee of the State of Vermont
- Be a current or retired employee or member of an agency or organization which is one of our eligible Select Employee Groups
- Be a relative of a current VSECU member
Organization/Entity Eligibility:
For an organization, association, partnership or corporation to be eligible for membership, the majority of the principle stakeholders (members, owners, partners) must be individuals who are eligible for membership in the Credit Union. In addition, an organization whose employees are predominantly eligible for membership may also join.
Opening an Account
To open your business account print out and complete these two forms and mail them to us or drop them off at any VSECU branch. We will process the forms and contact you to see how we can assist you with your business goals.
