“It has truly been an honor to serve as treasurer of the VSECU Board as well as its subsidiary, the Vermont Heritage Financial Group. In these challenging times, I’ve seen firsthand the important and positive role VSECU has had in the state of Vermont. I’m particularly proud of the visionary and compassionate ways VSECU continued to serve Vermonters throughout the COVID crisis, from creating loan deferral programs to expanding teleservices, and being a leader among Vermont financial institutions in working with its employees to ensure their safety and livelihoods. As a Board Member, I’ve seen firsthand how VSECU has played a crucial role in supporting its members and our state, through providing innovative financial programs and educational offerings. While representing VSECU at the National Credit Union Conference in Washington, D.C., I also had the opportunity to connect with our elected leaders to convey how VSECU supports our local communities through values-led banking. I feel passionately that VSECU must continue to play a vital role in ensuring the economic security of its members and, more
broadly, lead the way among local financial institutions in its mission to improve the lives of all Vermonters.”
