Meet Your Branch Manager
Laurie Gormley joined VSECU when her previous credit union, P.M.H Credit Union of Bennington, merged with ours in 2014. Laurie has been serving members for 15 years from the health care community in Bennington. Before coming to the credit union, Laurie worked in administration for the health care industry. Laurie is a board member of the Better Bennington Corporation and the Bennington County Choral Society, and serves on the Steering Committee for Empty Bowls. Additionally, Laurie teaches financial literacy with the Bennington County Coalition for the Homeless and has worked closely with SpeakSooner, which is a program that educates communities about the patient’s role in opening difficult and meaningful conversations with family and healthcare providers.
