Seeking Members to Serve as Volunteers

This is your opportunity to share your professional expertise with VSECU.

VSECU serves more than 45,000 members and now that our membership is open to everybody who lives or works in Vermont, we are becoming more diverse than ever. We are seeking qualified member volunteers from around the state to fill the following open positions:

Board of Directors
4 vacancies

Credit Committee
1 vacancy

Supervisory Committee
1 vacancy, appointed by the Board

Application Process

To qualify for a volunteer position, either elected or appointed, a person must be at least 18 years of age and a member in good standing. Members wishing to be considered for nomination must submit a letter of interest and resume to the Nominating Committee by November 15. The Committee will review the materials they receive and announce their selections on or before December 1.

As an alternate method of becoming a nominee, members also have the opportunity to file a petition with the Supervisory Committee. Contact Perry Thompson at 802/800 371-5162 for a petition form. The petition must be received at VSECU on or before December 15 in order to be valid.

Letters of interest and resumes, or completed petitions should be sent to:
