MONTPELIER, VT—VSECU, a not for profit financial cooperative for all Vermonters, recently announced the results of its member election for the credit union’s Board of Directors and Credit Committee.
Three incumbents were returned to the credit union’s board: M. Jerome Diamond, Todd Bailey and Judy P. Rosenstreich. New to the board is Jason Aldous of Randolph Center. Members also elected incumbent Helen M. Weed to the Credit Committee.
VSECU’s member-owners democratically control the credit union by exercising their right to vote for these non-compensated board positions. Over 6,000 members cast votes choosing from field of seven candidates. The candidates expressed their appreciation to the members for taking an active interest in the credit union.
Voting was open to all members who could cast their votes by paper or using the internet in the weeks leading up to the VSECU annual meeting, which was held on March 14.
