Overall health and wellness is vital for Vermonters. VSECU is dedicated to improving the quality of life for all Vermonters and seeks opportunities to bring balance to the quality of life when possible. These are some of the ways we’ve helped Vermonter’s with their health and wellness:

Vermont Foundation of Recovery - We Care 2, 2017 Award

Summer Blood Drives - 2016

From June 6th to July 1st, we hosted 6 blood drives at our branches throughout the state from St. Johnsbury to Bennington. Overall, we collected 132 donations from our employees, members, and the many generous people in our communities. With each donation potentially saving three lives, we’ve impacted 396 lives with the statewide effort. Read More

Fall Blood Drives - 2015

In partnership with the Red Cross, VSECU hosted a fall series of blood drives at branches throughout the state. VSECU volunteers registered and helped donors to the Red Cross Mobile Blood Centers that were parked outside. 81 units of blood were collected from donors in the community, VSECU members, and VSECU staff, collecting enough blood to potentially save 243 lives. In partnership with the Red Cross 100 Days of Summer campaign, VSECU hosted a series of 5 blood drives at branches throughout the state. Donors from the community joined VSECU members and staff in giving blood during a time of year when high demand for blood is often paired with low donation rates. Read More
