Vermont winters can be long, cold, and, most notably, expensive. Fuel Your Neighbors helps Vermont’s most vulnerable populations get the fuel they need by covering the costs of home heating and/or food.

Who we help

Children and seniors are at the greatest risk in winter. VSECU and Fuel Your Neighbors partner to maximize our positive impact and protect the most vulnerable Vermonters during the harsh winter months.

About the partnership

Fuel Your Neighbors was launched by VSECU and Capstone Community Action, with generous support from The Point FM. Together we were able to exceed the program’s goal for its initial winter. The initial success of the program attracted additional sponsors including Red Hen Baking Co.Sovernet Communications (FirstLight)Leone, Mcdonnell & RobertsSymquestHickok and Boardman, and The Alchemist.
