A native Vermonter, Alvah Newhall has worked in the financial industry since 1987. Attending local Vermont schools, Alvah graduated from Union 32 High School and has a business degree from Vermont College/Norwich University. After college he began working at National Life Insurance Company as a pension analyst and then started his banking career at Vermont Federal Bank. Since then, he has worked for Vermont National Bank, Chittenden Bank, Charter One Bank, and Citizens Bank, experiencing numerous mergers through the years. Known well for his tenor (which he says has not changed over time), Alvah and his team are ready to serve you in our capital city branch.
