People over profit
You do more than just banking with VSECU. Your funds support the financial stability and goals of other members, so you can help build a better Vermont for us all.
Why bank with a credit union?
A credit union is an alternative to a traditional bank. As a not-for-profit community-based financial cooperative, we are owned by our members.
-
Triple bottom line
Many financial institutions measure their success using one bottom line: profit. We measure our success using a triple bottom line model that accounts for our impact on people, planet, and prosperity.
-
Members first
Our members always come first. We answer to you, not shareholders, and we’re committed to helping you reach your next financial milestone. We only succeed when you succeed.
-
Community impact
As a credit union, we are deeply committed to the philosophy of people helping people. That’s why we partner with organizations and businesses that share our mission to improve the lives of all Vermonters.
-
Innovative solutions
As a VSECU member, you get access to innovative solutions, designed to meet your unique needs, along with all the standard financial products and services you expect.
